Jennifer Hudson and her partner David Otunga have hired a wedding venue and set a date for their big celebration, it has been revealed. The WWE wrestler told Life & Style magazine that the couple want their friend Neil Lane to design their wedding rings.
What is more, the bride-to-be has already decided which wedding dress she will be sporting for the occasion, he explained.
"Jennifer has chosen her dress, but she won't tell me much about that, obviously," Otunga said.
However, she is not the only one who has her outfit sorted, as he continued: "I want my son and I to wear matching custom tuxedos."
The pair got engaged in 2008 and have a son called David.
Jennifer was a finalist on American Idol and is an actress as well a singer, picking up an Oscar for her performance as Elfie in the 2006 adaptation of the Broadway musical Dream Girls.
Deena Payne gets married in Barbados!
Soap actress Deena Payne has tied the knot in Barbados.
The star, who plays Viv Windsor in Emmerdale, donned a wedding dress to exchange vows with her long-term partner Steve Grant from the glam rock band Sweet. Speaking to Hello! magazine about her nuptials, Payne revealed that before they started organising the wedding photography, Grant proposed to her by text message when he was touring with his group in Australia.
"I thought he was joking. We'd both been married before and it hadn't worked out so we had a bit of baggage. But it seemed the right thing to do," she said.
The actress, who first joined Emmerdale in 1993, added that tying the knot has given the couple confidence and she has realised that they will stay together for the rest of their lives. They have been together for around 20 years and have a 17-year-old son together named Will.

Her preferred wedding venue is St Margaret's in Rottingdean, East Sussex, close to Cowell's childhood home.
Father Martin Morgan at the church tells the publication: "It had not crossed my mind that the wedding would be here because Simon's such a big star." However, he adds that Hussainy's Muslim background would not prevent a Church of England ceremony from taking place.
When it comes to make-up for the ceremony, the happy couple could be in good hands.
Hussainy is among Hollywood's best-known make-up artists and is responsible for Cowell's appearance - along with his fellow judges - on American Idol, as well as working on a number of other major shows in the US.

Speaking to the Sun about the couple's break-up, a source also said: "They took a tough decision and both regretted calling it off almost immediately."
While Nicole is famous for hits such as Jai Ho and Buttons with the Pussycat Dolls, Lewis was the 2008 Formula One world champion, becoming the youngest driver ever to take the title.
